She's a Christian
Louise B.
Welcome to the She's a Christian podcast ... I'm your host Louise, and you guessed it - I'm a Christian. This is a place where you can feel like you've popped around to your friend's house for a cup of tea and a chat, and that you come away feel encouraged, peaceful and like you've had a really good laugh. I get that the church thing can sometimes feel a bit inaccessible or you're put off by the religious "stuff" (so am I by the way). Maybe you already have a faith .. or maybe you're seeking to learn a bit more about faith and what it could mean to your life. Perhaps you've met some " judgy mcjudgerson" Christians in the past and you're just not sure if it's for you - either way, I've got you! My prayer is that this podcast will become your Christian crew, and you can always sit with us. In our 30-40 minute episodes, I will be interviewing the most incredible Christians from all walks of life who will be sharing their testimonies of Jesus' goodness and what he has done in their lives. Whether you're listening on the school run, doing the dishes at night or sitting at your desk having lunch - I hope you'll be encouraged with this. Especially if you might be thinking "how can there even be a God in this world right now?". Join me on this journey ... I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm reminded that God doesn't call the equipped ... he equips the called. God bless, Louise

Hello and welcome to episode eleven of the She's a Christian podcast. I am really excited today to be chatting with Kirsteen Marshall, from Glasgow! Not only is she such an interesting, dynamic, and amazing person, but I just know that by the end of this podcast, you're going to want to be her pal as well.
When I first started this podcast, Kirsteen was one of the first people that came into my mind as she possesses something so unique. Kirsteen was training with the Church of Scotland when we first met. She was a Parish assistant, but to everyone else she was a pastor! Kirsteen would fulfil the pastoral role and preach on Sundays.
Kirsteen has always been involved in charities, foundations and giving back. She is someone that really has a heart for her community. Her testimony is incredibly inspiring. You will hear all about her addiction, recovery journey and how finding faith saved her.
You can find out more about the charity Kirsteen works for here: https://www.nrfglasgow.org/
